叉烧包 Char Siew Pao

Char siew pao again, this is my son request.

Mummy will always fulfill what the kids request for. 

That is mum.... ha.....

南瓜馒头 Pumpkin Mantou

Today i went to the market to buy some vege for homecook.

At the stall i buy the vegetable, come i women want to buy a slice of pumpkin.

And the hawker done want to slice the pumpkin because the slice is small.

I say to the hawker that never mind cut a small slice for her and the other half i will take.

She just want to buy a small little for cooking porridge for her kids.

紫薯---双色馒头 Purple Sweet Potato Mantou

What happen to my purple sweet potato mantou?

why the surface so rough, is that i use high heat to steamed and it become like that????

But the taste was good. Just the outlook become rough.

Or i knead it not enough???

This is the first time my mantou become like this.

Or the yeast was not totally dissolved in the water and the dough become like that?

Oh...... so sad.

抹茶红豆蒸包 Macha & Red bean Steamed Pao

Yesterday i cook some red bean soup and after that sure will left some red bean.

What should i do with the red bean? 

In my mind i want to made steamed pao, but not just the plain pao with red bean.

I want something different. 

班兰咖呀蒸包 Pandan Kaya Steamed Pao

My son request for steamed pao with cha siew today.

But i dont want to cook cha siew and think for another filling.

i have buy a glass of kaya, and still in the fridge.

What if i use this for steamed pao???

Em....... good idea.

粟米馒头 Sweet Corn Mantou/ Steamed Bun

这两天喜欢上淡淡的黄色糕点。

昨天是淡黄色的牛油发糕，今天是淡黄色的粟米馒头。

淡淡的黄色多么的迷人啊。。。。

This two day likes the yellowish cake.

Yesterday was butter steamed cake, today is sweet corn mantou.

Both are in the lover yellowish color.

"Char Siew Pao" ----- my elder son favorite.

He can eat 2 pao in the same time.

香葱猪肉包子 Steamed Pao with Minced Meat and Hard Boil Egg

今天早餐吃蒸包子，香葱猪肉包子加入了水煮蛋。

我家两个小孩喜欢吃蒸包子。诚诚仔喜欢吃鸡蛋，就放了一些在包子内。

This is what we have for today breakfast, Steamed pao。

My two kids like to eat steamed pao. This time i put in hard boiled egg into the pao.

My elder son likes the hard boiled egg.

又是叉烧包，儿子又说妈咪你没有做那个有肉肉的包子给我吃。

既然儿子有要求，肯定的满足他们咯。

又开工做包子啦，这次的加了水煮蛋在里面。

沙葛虾米包子 Steamed Pao with Vege Filling

看看照片上的包子是不是有很多不同的造型？

其实，主角应该是沙葛包子。

不同的造型是为了分辨不同的人而做的。

圆滚滚的是爸爸的---只有蔬菜没有虾米，

有捏花纹的是---蔬菜和虾米馅料，

卷型和角型是两个小孩的---馅料是香肠。

这包子本来应该是昨天做的，

但是因为时间不够所以今天才动工。

前天约好了妈妈和妹妹到理发店去剪头发，

结果昨天起来尽然把这件事给忘记了。

今天这包子是和堂妹一起做的。

好学的堂妹说很想学，就越好今天来个做包课。

这包子很软很好吃，蒸是满屋包子香。

最近很长在做包子哦。。。

没办法，看到书中的包子太诱人了，不来试一下哪里可以？？？

在加上两个小宝贝也喜欢吃。

看到 “新马小官” 的书里有做包子的配方，而这配方比较简单。

几天前就很想做，因为很忙所以今天才有时间来做做看。

这包子皮很幼，还不错吃。而不需花太多时间在等待发酵。

儿子下午就帮我吃掉 3 个，另外的留给他们每天带到学校。

今天做了这点心当下午茶，

刚刚出炉时的包子真的好香好香，又很软。

我一口气就吃掉了 2 粒。

大哥哥也吃了 1 粒。

午后切突然下起雨来了。

而且还是蛮大的，也好把热气给吹散。

香软金瓜馒头 Pumpkin Man Tou

在这新的一年，2013，第一道包点作品是这金黄的馒头。

希望这金金黄黄的馒头，为我和各位带来美好的一年。

大家一样的 “旺” 啊。。。。哈哈。

这是参考 Wendy 家的，蒸出来的馒头包子好香软。

包子一出来，我家儿子就说要吃。

一吃，就吃掉了 3 个。

可见这馒头有多好吃啊。

丑丑的生肉包 Steamed Pork Pao

你们看我的包子有多丑啊。。。。 唔。。。唔。。。唔。。。

好伤心哦。因为啊，我用了食油来代替白油。

我家的食油是比较黄的，再加上发粉不是完全融合。

还有一点点的黄点。太心急了，还没有被我柔道完全融合就拿去发酵。

沙葛蒸包

今天做了两款包子，沙葛菜包是给我和老公的，另外一款是给小孩的。给小孩的是没有馅料的馒头。因为沙葛包子有胡椒粉的辛辣，所以没有给孩子吃。

蒸香肠卷和花生包 Steamed Sausage Pau & Peanut Pau

今天做了两款蒸包子，香肠卷包和花生包。

待我把花生内陷做好后，我家儿子在一旁偷吃我的花生馅。
