栗子焖鸡 Braised Chicken with Chestnut

 

 I haven cook this dish for a long time.

That day go shopping and see some dry chestnut so gab some home.

i ask my kids to help me to remove the skin of the chestnut.

He ask me why got so many work to do when i want to eat this.

I told him, if you want t eat good food, sure you want to work for them first.

After remove 2or 3, he said, mammy you finish it la,  want go to play liao.

Em..... no pattience one....

But when eat, he said, mammy so good....

Today i cook this very flavorful dish for me and hubby.

Kids didn't have this, they said this curry, and they done want spicy food.

Eating with steaming hot hot rice is very satisfying.

I went to the market this morning and buy one packet of dumpling skin.

After home i have no idea on what to do with this.

I have no idea on what to cook for the dinner.

Today i am cooking this simple dish for my kids for their dinner.

This is really simple, and i am just using salt and sugar for the seasoning.

I like to have this with rice or fried mee.

娘惹黄姜鸡 Nyonya Turmeric Chicken

This is a Nyonya style dish that i found from the book "Truly Nyonya Malacca"

And its call "Ayam Kunyit" in malay.

I was attracted by the photo from the book.

It looks very delicious and its simple and easy to cook this.

Ha... Ha... especially when you are rushing time.

And yet it is fragrant and delicious.

佛錛鸡丁 Diced Chicken in Taro Bowl

Today i went to the market and see got beautiful taro. Buy one just want to try making this taro bowl.

My hubby love this very much. But i am so careless today.

I use half ingredients of the recipe, but when i pour in the water,

i forget to reduce into half and just pour in.

When i have just added all the ingredients inside then i realized it.

Am i so careless? Hai......

But luckily it still can be eaten. The problem is that i cant shape it.

豆芽菜炒鸡丝 Stir-fried Bean Sprout with Chicken

Simple dish. 

Normally when i cook bean sprout i seldom put in any meat.

Today i add in chicken sliced into this because just want my son to have some meat for his dinner.

If not he will just eat only the bean sprout.

My eldest son is a vegetable fancy, he likes to meat vege more than meat.

左宗棠鸡 Chicken In Tomato Sauce

This is another simple and yummy delicious to introduce to you.

What ever ingredients that come with tomato sauce is very appetizing and delicious.

My sons likes tomato so much, and this dish is suit him to have more rice.

Today i am coming back for blogging again. 

After taking my father to the hospital for fully checking, the doctor give pump to break up his sputum and have a blood checking. 

宫保鸡丁 Kung Po' Chicken

其实这道料理的名字是宫保腰豆鸡丁，但因为我家没有所以就省略了。

本来是可以用其它豆类来替代的，但是因为要赶时间也只好不放了。

This recipe should be cook together with the cashew nuts but i don't have it at home so i omitted them.

Actually it can be replace by the other kinds of nut but i am rush in time so .........

这道料理有很多个版本，我选了“就是酱美味”食谱书里的版本来试试看。

大体上，这道料理是不错的，大家都可以接受。

Kung po chicken also got many version but i use to try the recipe in this "Jam and Sauce" Cook Book.

Overall it is good, and like by us. 

马铃薯娘惹鸡 Nyonya Ponteh with Potato

又是一道非常下饭的料理。
这都是一些很旧的食谱，几年前的杂志。
杂志虽然就，但是料理是不会过时的。
越久的食谱越是好料。

简易晚餐-黄姜饭 Simple Dinner -Nasi Kuning

今天来个简单又好味的，又香喷喷的黄姜饭。

加上好吃又开胃的马来红酱鸡---Ayam Masak Merah.

再配上一些简单的材料，就是一顿丰富的晚餐。

Today i cook Nasi Kuning and Ayam Masak Merah for dinner.

and together with the side dish, and make it a wonderful dinner set.

回家晚餐 Dinner with Family

酸梅酱煮鱼 Plum Sauce Fish

鱼炸至熟及香脆，爆香蒜米，加入洋葱拌炒，倒入酸梅酱和少许番茄酱及适量水煮滚，淋在鱼上即可。

清炒玻璃生菜  Stir-fry Shang Coi

爆香蒜米，倒入玻璃生菜炒香，下盐调味即可。

焖 Kurma 鸡肉   Braised Chicken with Maggi Kurma Powder

用了maggi Kurma 鸡粉加入 3 汤匙水调匀，热油锅倒入香料炒香，放入鸡肉块，炒至鸡肉半熟，倒入2 杯水焖约 20 分钟，最后加入淡奶拌炒均匀。

肉碎蒸蛋  Steamed Egg with Minced Pork

猪肉剁至烂，鸡蛋 3 粒打散，加入3 粒鸡蛋壳的清水，加入盐，胡椒粉搅拌均匀。

倒入碗内放入碗中，放入蒸锅蒸至熟即可。淋上蒜酥和蒜油倒入少许酱清即可。

木瓜粟米排骨汤  Papaya Sweet Corn Pork Ribs Soup

把汤锅水煮滚，放入排骨，切块的青木瓜，粟米大火煮滚，转慢火煮约 1 小时即可.

下盐调味。
