Use to cook this simple ginger chicken.
Love the ginger flavor and i add more more garlic pips.
My son love to eat the whole garlic.
It can warm up our body.
Recipe from : The Nyonya Love
Ingredients :
Chicken ........... 700 g (cut into small pieces)
Water .......... 3/4 cup
( A )
Young ginger .......... 120 g (sliced)
Garlic .......... 3 pips (sliced)
Whole garlic .......... 10 pips
( B )
Corn flour .......... 1 tsp (mix with 1 tbsp water)
Spring onion .......... 2 stalks (sectioned)
Seasoning :
2 tbsp .......... soy sauce
1 tbsp .......... shaoxing wine
1 tsp ..........sugar
1/2 tsp .......... salt
Methods :
1. Stir-fry ingredients ( A ) with sesame oil until fragrant.
2. Add in chicken and stir for a while.
3. Add in seasoning and water, mix well.
4. Turn to low heat and simmer till almost dry.
5. Add in cornstarch to thicken the gravy, and sprinkle in the spring onion.
