I brough this ready fried fish maw since Chinese New Year. My little son love to eat fish maw very much same as me. No matter is in the soup or braised like this.
Few time request from my son and now just have the tome to cook this for him. He was happy and eat much. This dish is really nice and tasty.
This is the recipe, but i have no exactly measurement. Just add or discard according to your own tasty or cook. Just for a reference. Lets see.
Ingredients :
Japanese egg tofu, cut into small pieces
some mushroon
fish maw, soaked and cut into small pieces
sliced carrots
some baby corns, sliced
shelled prawns
slices ginger
some chopped garlic
Seasoning :
light soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, some pepper, water
and some cornstarch water for thickening.
Methods :
1. Heat some oil, deep-frying tofu until golden brown. Dish and drain.
2. Saute chopped garlic and ginger until aromatic, add in prawns, mushroom and carrot, stir-fry until fragrant.
3. Add some water, then add in the rest of the ingredients, bring to boil.
4. Add in the seasoning. Lower the heat and braised for a while. Taste and lastly pour in some corn starch water to thicken the gravy.
