玫瑰香燕菜月饼 Rose Syrup Jelly Mooncake


这是今年的第一个月饼,先来个燕菜月饼吧。
用了玫瑰香露来做。味道甜美无比。 
浅浅的粉红色,玫瑰露加上淡奶调出来的颜色和味道棒极了。
This is my first attempt on mooncake, here come a jelly mooncake.
I used Ros syrup to made this jelly mooncake.
The smell and taste was so fragrants and nice.
Love the colour in pink with add the evaporated milk together with the Ros syrup.



用了两个不同牌子的燕菜粉,各牌子的水分量和软硬度都不同。在这里做个记录。
I have been using two brands of agar-agar powder, and the different brand their water need are different and the texture of agar-agar also got some different. Here i just want to made a record for my viewed later.


For the filling :

100 ml ..... Rose Syrup
400 ml ..... water
1 pak ..... Agar-agar powder in Red Color (swallow globe brand)
40 g ..... Sugar

Methods :
Put all the ingredients into the saucepan and cook until the sugar and agar-agar powder dissolved and boiled.
Remove from heat. Pour into the small cake pan. Let to cool. (make 11 pcs)

Pink Color Jelly :

Ingredients :

5 g ..... Agar-agar powder (Swallow Sun Brand)
50 ml ..... Rose Syrup
100 ml ..... Evaporated Milk
300 ml ..... Water
40 g ..... Sugar

Methods :

1.     Put all the ingredients into a saucepan and cook until the sugar and agar-agar powder dissolved and boiled. Remove from heat. 

2.     Pour the jelly batter into the Jelly Mooncake mould, half of the mold and let to cool and set.

3.     Place 1 piece of the filling onto the mooncake mold, then pour in the pink colour jelly into the mould until it is full all the mold. Let to cool and set.

4.     Put into the fridge for few hours before remove from the mould. 

In next attempt i will show he step by step by taking photo.
