Hello Kitty Coconut Jelly Cake 椰浆燕菜蛋糕


这椰浆燕菜蛋糕是妹妹的同事预订的。
很可惜我的 Hello Kitty 的眼睛不是黑色,家里没有黑色或巧克力色。
家人说我的 Kitty 生病了,因为眼睛是红色的。
This Jelly Cake is order by my sister colleague.
You find that the hello kitty eyes is in red colour, because i don have black or brown colour.
My family said that my hello kitty was sick, because the eyes was red. haha......

这蛋糕是妹妹的同事预订的。希望他会喜欢。
也希望她不介意,Hello Kitty 的眼睛变成了 Pink。
I hope my sister colleague will like this design.
And hope she also don mind that the kitty eyes change to pink already.

这次的蛋糕用了全蛋打发的方式。
燕菜粉也用了不同的牌子,水量也不同了。
这次的燕菜体会比较硬。
This cake i use the whole egg beating method.
The agar-agar powder also in different brand and the outcome is not so soft.

Sponge Cake : I use recipe from Kingdom of Tasty Life 

Pandan Sponge Cake

Ingredients :

Whole eggs ..... 3
Hong Kong flour ..... 50 g
Corn flour ..... 10 g
Caster sugar ..... 50 g
Canola oil ..... 20 g
Pandan paste ..... 1/4 tsp

Methods :

1.     Beat the egg and sugar using electric mixer until smooth and fluffy. 
2.     Sifted in the flour in 3 batch and fold with a spatula until well mix.
3.     In a another bowl in the corn oil with the pandan paste.
4.     Add in 1/3 of the flour mixture into no ( 3 ), mix till well combined.
5.     Pour the no. ( 4 ) mixture into the flour mixture and gently mix well.
6.     Pour the mixture into the baking pan, bake at 150 C for 30 minutes. 
7.     Let it cool before unmould from the cake pan.

Agar - agar layer :

Green layer ingredients :

Swallow globe brand agar-agar ..... 1 pack
Thick coconut milk ..... 100 ml
Water ..... 700 ml
Sugar ..... 180 g
Pandan paste ..... 1/2 tsp
Pandan leave ..... 2 pcs (knotted)

Methods :

Put all the ingredients into a saucepan, boiled until sugar and agar-agar powder dissolved. Remove from heat.

Yellow layer ingredients :

Swallow globe brand agar-agar ..... 1 pack
Thick coconut milk ..... 100 ml
Water ..... 700 ml
Sugar ..... 180 g
Yellow colour ..... few drops
Pandan leave ..... 2 pcs (knotted)

Methods :

Put all the ingredients into a saucepan, boiled until sugar and agar-agar powder dissolved. Remove from heat.

Combination :

1.      Place the sponge cake into the cake pan.

2.     Slowly pour in the green layer agar-agar into no. ( 1 ). Let to cool.

3.     When this is done, pour in the yellow layer agar-agar onto the green layer, let to cool.

4.     Keep in the fridge for few hours before serve.

5.     Decorate with hello kitty agar-agar on top.
