香煎黑胡椒鸡扒 Chicken Chop with Black Pepper Gravy


My valentine dinner. 
Enjoy! and have a nice and romantic valentine to all.



香煎黑胡椒鸡扒

鸡腿/鸡扒 (去骨)           2块
香蒜  (切碎)          1 Tbsp
姜片 (切碎, 取汁)          1 tbsp
辣椒酱           2 Tbsp
番茄酱           1 Tbsp
酱油           1 Tbsp
蚝油           1/2 Tbsp
蜜糖           1/2 Tbsp

1.     把全部腌料混合一起, 然后加入鸡扒, 放入冰箱腌制大概1个小时。
2.     烧热油, 把鸡扒煎之半熟, 然后翻面, 煎到熟后, 取出备用。

准备酱汁

牛油      1 Tbsp
面粉      3/4 Tbsp
洋葱      1个
蘑菇      4个 (没放)
番茄      1个
水      1杯
黑酱油      1/2tsp
番茄酱      1/2Tbsp
黑胡椒粒       1/2Tbsp 

1.     开小火, 把牛油融化, 加入面粉, 炒至褐色。
2.     加入洋葱和蘑菇, 炒至香。
3.     加入水, 在加入番茄酱拌匀。
4.     加入黑酱油, 然后加入番茄块。
5.     加入, 黑胡椒粒, 再煮至浓稠。
6.     煮好后, 淋在鸡扒上就可以上桌了。 

Chicken thighs       (de-boned)       2 pieces
Minced garlic       1Tbsp
Ginger       1 cm (pounded and juice extracted)
Tomato Sauce       1 Tbsp
Soy Sauce Oyster sauce       1 Tbsp
Honey        1/2 Tbsp

1.     Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Put in the chicken thighs and mix again.
2.     Marinade for one hour in the frrdge.
3.     Heat a non-stick part with oil over a medium heat. 
4.     Fry chicken thighs until half cooked. Turn over and repeat the process. 
5.     Do not overcook your chicken pieces or the meat will be dry.
6.     Once cooked, put on a plate and keep aside.

For the gravy:

Butter      1 Tbsp
Plain flour       3/4 Tbsp
Onion (diced)       1
Mushroom (diced)       4 (not added)
Tomato (diced)        1
Dark soy sauce       1/2 tsp
Tomato Sauce       1/2 Tbsp
Black pepper       1/2 Tbsp

1.     Melt the butter over a low heat. Once melted, pour in the flour and stir till brown.
2.     Put in the onion and mushroom, fry till fragrant.
3.     Then, pour in the water and stir. Add in the tomato sauce and stir until well-mixed.
4.     Add in the dark soy sauce. Then, put in the chopped tomato. 
5.     Add in the black pepper finally and stir until the mixture thickens.
6.     Serve with your chicken.


This is my kids version i change the black pepper gravy to tomato sauce.
