釀玉环 Stuff Jade Ring

 

这道菜肴的名字是我取的哦，釀玉环。好听吗？

所谓的玉环，也就是青瓜啦。

给他一个高贵的名字。儿子超爱吃。单单一个人就吃了4个了。

I name this recipe with Jade Ring, is that ok?

Ha... Why? Actually is stuff cucumber, but i give them a special name.

Do the cucumber ring just look like a jade?

My son love this very much. He can eat round 4 pcs and ask for more.

"Chayote". Actually i love this vegetable also no matter it is soup and stir-fry.

My elder son like this very much, he say "mummy this is very sweet".

炒豆腐杂菜 Stir-fry Tofu with Mix Vegetables

I very tired this few days, the two little boys was sick.

The elder is more better than the small kids.

The younger is more serious.

He had high fever, cough, and flu.

I have not cook this dish for a long time.

I like egg-plant very much, no matter what method to cook it.

自制水饺 Homemade Dumpling

 

I went to the market this morning and buy one packet of dumpling skin.

After home i have no idea on what to do with this.

I have no idea on what to cook for the dinner.

豆酱炒长豆 Stir-fried Long Bean with Soy Bean Paste

Just simpe sitr-fried with bean paste and it is already delicious.

Love the crunchy from the bean and salty from the bean paste.

Who love chilli sure can put in some chilli.

i have kids eating with me so sure is pure one.

佛錛鸡丁 Diced Chicken in Taro Bowl

Today i went to the market and see got beautiful taro. Buy one just want to try making this taro bowl.

My hubby love this very much. But i am so careless today.

I use half ingredients of the recipe, but when i pour in the water,

i forget to reduce into half and just pour in.

When i have just added all the ingredients inside then i realized it.

Am i so careless? Hai......

But luckily it still can be eaten. The problem is that i cant shape it.

马铃薯鸡蛋沙拉 Potato Egg Salad

Just come in my mine that i want to eat salad.

I have been try a potato egg salad dish in a local restaurant here.

And i actually like this kind of salad, 

but when i have this in that restaurant i just got one feeling.

“nausea”

I done know what happen to that. 

腐皮猪肉卷 Beancurd Meat Roll

I have quite a long time didn't make this Beancurd Roll.

In this version i an using the pork meat for the filling.

I like the fragrant of the meat roll after frying. 

And if you like the soft skin you can have it steamed after you fry.

It is also taste good. 

豆芽菜炒鸡丝 Stir-fried Bean Sprout with Chicken

Simple dish. 

Normally when i cook bean sprout i seldom put in any meat.

Today i add in chicken sliced into this because just want my son to have some meat for his dinner.

If not he will just eat only the bean sprout.

My eldest son is a vegetable fancy, he likes to meat vege more than meat.

Go to the market today. Market was crowded with people today, 

may be want to get ready for the mooncake festival.

No idea on what to cook for today, just simply fried fish and cook a mix vegetables.

And one herbal soup. 

龙须苗炒虾米 Stir-friedChayote Shoot with dried Prawn

“龙须苗” ------ Can anybody tell me what is the name for this vegetable in english??

I saw this vegetable selling in the market and the malay aunty ask to buy this.

She say this is good to have it stir fry with dry prawn.

墨鱼炒豉油 + 鸡柳四季豆 Stir Fry Squid in Dark Soy Sauce+French Bean with Chicken

Tonight dinner we have just two simple dish.  

Stir Fry Squid in Dark Soy Sauce and French Bean with Chicken.

My father likes to cook squid with dark soy sauce when we are still young, 

and we love to have the gravy with rice. 

香菇豆腐素菜 Stir-fry Mushroom with Tofu (Meatless)

 Yesterday, i went to the market, i saw the hawker selling tofu and i grab 3 pieces home.

After that i have no idea on what i am going to do with this tofu.

So i leave it over night, and when i go clean my pantry i saw some mushroom left.

In my mine, there come the idea of cooking it with the tofu.

Today i am coming back for blogging again. 

After taking my father to the hospital for fully checking, the doctor give pump to break up his sputum and have a blood checking. 

叁巴虾米树子菜 Stir-fry Sayur Manis with Sambal Dry Prawn

I love this dish very much, almost every time we have dinner outside, we will definitely order this.

Yesterday when i went to the wet market i see this sayur manis selling at the stall, 

i quickly buy i bush home. i leave some for cooking the pan mee and the rest i cook this dish.

My elder son also love this. 

翡翠炒肉片 Stir Fried Pork Slices with Lotus Root

我个人喜好吃莲藕，不单是用来煲汤还有用来炒。

喜欢他那脆脆的口感。

再配上一下脆脆的蔬菜，美味极了。

I like lotus root not only for soup but also in stir fry.

I like the crunchiness when we bite.

Mix with other vegetable that have the same crunch. yummy.

回家晚餐 Dinner with Family

酸梅酱煮鱼 Plum Sauce Fish

鱼炸至熟及香脆，爆香蒜米，加入洋葱拌炒，倒入酸梅酱和少许番茄酱及适量水煮滚，淋在鱼上即可。

清炒玻璃生菜  Stir-fry Shang Coi

爆香蒜米，倒入玻璃生菜炒香，下盐调味即可。

焖 Kurma 鸡肉   Braised Chicken with Maggi Kurma Powder

用了maggi Kurma 鸡粉加入 3 汤匙水调匀，热油锅倒入香料炒香，放入鸡肉块，炒至鸡肉半熟，倒入2 杯水焖约 20 分钟，最后加入淡奶拌炒均匀。

肉碎蒸蛋  Steamed Egg with Minced Pork

猪肉剁至烂，鸡蛋 3 粒打散，加入3 粒鸡蛋壳的清水，加入盐，胡椒粉搅拌均匀。

倒入碗内放入碗中，放入蒸锅蒸至熟即可。淋上蒜酥和蒜油倒入少许酱清即可。

木瓜粟米排骨汤  Papaya Sweet Corn Pork Ribs Soup

把汤锅水煮滚，放入排骨，切块的青木瓜，粟米大火煮滚，转慢火煮约 1 小时即可.

下盐调味。

凉拌鸡肉丝 Chicken with Cucumber Salad

今天一次过上了两道料理。

刚才上了一道 香煎肉饼 Swallow Fry Meat Cake，

现在再来一道爽口多汁的 鸡肉凉拌菜。

这料理完全是用了最简单的调味料，

重点是麻油，必须用好的，香醇的，

吃起来才不会油腻。
