椰香金翡翠冰皮月饼 Coconut Pandan Bing Pi Mooncake

今天我又做冰皮月饼了。今天的冰皮用了椰浆来代替水。

吃起来皮带有淡淡的椰香味。好吃。

馅料用回之前买的香兰莲蓉。两者陪在一起，超赞。

Today i am making Bing Pi Mooncake. In this Bing Pi skin i use coconut milk to replace the water.

Love this flavor with the coconut milk skin and the pandan paste together, and they are just match.

自家炒河粉 Home Style Char Kuew Teow

This morning i went to saloon with my sister. Just having my hair cut and wash.

After that, waiting for my two kids back from school.

What should i cook for this lunch, just getting in my mine, i want to eat char kuew teow.

So waiting for what?? go to the market and get ready for the ingredients.

Cook a big packet of mee and enjoy with my family.

And done forget to have this with some sambal chilli if you like. 

公仔饼/猪笼饼 Mooncake Toy Biscuits

原本是想要做传统月饼的饼皮，但是皮料搅拌后要放到第二天才开工做月饼。

这样月饼做出来的颜色才会漂亮。

到了第二天，刚好有事情不能开工，只好又放多一天。

第三天要开始做的时候，饼皮变硬了，不能整形了。

想了一下丢了有很可惜，怎么办，突然想到公仔饼好像也是用同样材料做的。

就上网查一查，就看到Aunty mayyee 部落格里用月饼皮做公仔饼。

为了不让费饼皮的材料就决定一试。

My father likes to cook squid with dark soy sauce when we are still young, 

and we love to have the gravy with rice.

Recently i saw some blog friend also cooking this yummy dish and all comment good.

I decide to get this a try. This is really yummy and i like this.

It is simple and yummy. 

最近看到有一些部落格朋友都在煮这道料理，也很推荐。

所以，我也决定来试一试。这道料理真的很不错，我喜欢。

这是好吃又简单的一道料理。

香菇豆腐素菜 Stir-fry Mushroom with Tofu (Meatless)

 Yesterday, i went to the market, i saw the hawker selling tofu and i grab 3 pieces home.

After that i have no idea on what i am going to do with this tofu.

So i leave it over night, and when i go clean my pantry i saw some mushroom left.

In my mine, there come the idea of cooking it with the tofu.

微波面包 Bread Roll

I am baking these bun for today breakfast. Using the bread roll recipe i did before.

Like the softness of this methods.

Two type of bun for choose, want the Cheese Bread Roll or the Plain Bread Roll?

This two boys like the cheese bun more.

Still have i month before the mooncake festival.

 I have buy a packet of Pandan Paste and a packet of BingPi Mooncake Mix last week, so today i try on making this BingPi (冰皮) Mooncake by myself according to the laber on the packet.

After taking my father to the hospital for fully checking, the doctor give pump to break up his sputum and have a blood checking. 

甜豆炒花枝 Stir Fried Squid with Snow Pea

Today, for me is not a good  day. After wake up, before sending my kids to school, 

i receive a call from my mum. Asking me to send my father to see doctor.

蚝汁煎马鲛鱼 Fried Mackerel with Oyster Sauce

This morning i went to the wet market and i saw this fresh big mackerel, 

the price is RM 16.00 for half of this fish. I was shock when the hawker seller told me the price.

鱼丸汤面 Fish Ball Soup Noodle

This is the first day of schooling day for my two kids after more than one week rest.

Last night i told my kids that tomorrow will be the school reopen day, 

ans you guys have to wake up early for school.

My elder son said : I don't want to go to school, i want to play at home.

Then i said : You don't want to dance meh, cause he likes dancing in school.

They have dance practice at school preparing for the graduation ceremony.

与家人外出晚餐 Dinner outside with My Family

Today is Sunday, so is our family gathering day.

We decide to have a simple dinner outside, no for any purpose just simply to enjoy our dinner. 

玫瑰香燕菜月饼 Rose Syrup Jelly Mooncake

这是今年的第一个月饼，先来个燕菜月饼吧。

用了玫瑰香露来做。味道甜美无比。 

浅浅的粉红色，玫瑰露加上淡奶调出来的颜色和味道棒极了。

This is my first attempt on mooncake, here come a jelly mooncake.

I used Ros syrup to made this jelly mooncake.

The smell and taste was so fragrants and nice.

Love the colour in pink with add the evaporated milk together with the Ros syrup.

叁巴虾米树子菜 Stir-fry Sayur Manis with Sambal Dry Prawn

I love this dish very much, almost every time we have dinner outside, we will definitely order this.

Yesterday when i went to the wet market i see this sayur manis selling at the stall, 

i quickly buy i bush home. i leave some for cooking the pan mee and the rest i cook this dish.

My elder son also love this. 

斑马奶油蛋糕 Zebra Butter Cake

This afternoon, i am baking a zebra butter cake, its a long time i am not baking butter cake.

Last time i see Sonia-Nasi Lemak Lover posting her zebra butter and i am so inspired by the beautiful strips from her cake. And this is also her mum favorite cake. So i got to try this.

蒸三皇蛋 Steamed Three Colour Egg

Last  two days when i went to the wet market i saw the fresh salted egg and the century egg, i remember see this in Phong Hong Bakes and i haven cook this dish for my little kids.

But my version is more simple.

板面 Pan Mee

I suppose to cook this last night for dinner, but in the evening time we bring that two kids go shopping.

So after shopping we direct go for dinner outside.

Therefore, this will be our lunch for today.

This "Pan Mee" got the other names, some call this "Flour Noodle" or "Flat Egg Noodle".

But all is the same. 

鲜橙汁 Fresh Orange Juice Blended

这是为家里 3 个男生所准备的。

吃完一碗热腾腾的板面，满身大汗的。

就弄来了这杯冰凉解渴的橙汁给他们解解热。

简单的把两粒鲜橙汁取肉，切片，放入果汁机里，加入少许糖， 冰块，适量的水，

拌打至果然和冰块完全融合即可。

Hello Kitty 燕菜蛋糕 Hello Kitty Coconut Jelly Cake

Last time when i posting this Coconut Jelly Cake, it is an order from my sister colleague.

But this time i made this for us, course i want to see the cake cutting out and the result inside.

I am so happy to see this beautiful jelly cake that is so successful.

And it is serve chill and the coconut flavor are so fragrant.

The colour are so beautiful. 

When you serve this in the hot hot weather, it is so good and enjoyable.

香软----牛奶面包 So Soft----Kopitiam Milk Bun

Today i am baking bun again, and is the famous bun by almost all bloggers.

Hi..... Hi......... i like this bun, the texture is so soft although you put it over until the next day.

Actually i m making the bun kosong, but my cake pan is small and just can put in 9 pcs of dough,

and the two left so where should i put them????

So just roll them up and put in the baking paper and spread on some shredded cheddar cheese.

宫保鸡丁 Kung Po' Chicken

其实这道料理的名字是宫保腰豆鸡丁，但因为我家没有所以就省略了。

本来是可以用其它豆类来替代的，但是因为要赶时间也只好不放了。

This recipe should be cook together with the cashew nuts but i don't have it at home so i omitted them.

Actually it can be replace by the other kinds of nut but i am rush in time so .........

这道料理有很多个版本，我选了“就是酱美味”食谱书里的版本来试试看。

大体上，这道料理是不错的，大家都可以接受。

Kung po chicken also got many version but i use to try the recipe in this "Jam and Sauce" Cook Book.

Overall it is good, and like by us. 

香葱猪肉包子 Steamed Pao with Minced Meat and Hard Boil Egg

今天早餐吃蒸包子，香葱猪肉包子加入了水煮蛋。

我家两个小孩喜欢吃蒸包子。诚诚仔喜欢吃鸡蛋，就放了一些在包子内。

This is what we have for today breakfast, Steamed pao。

My two kids like to eat steamed pao. This time i put in hard boiled egg into the pao.

My elder son likes the hard boiled egg. 

香酱煎鱼 Fried Fish with Thai Sauce

这是之前的 post，也是一道很美味的料理。

我们的病情也开始好转了，唯有大儿子到现在还是泻肚子，

希望明天会是好的一天。

This dish is a late post, but this is a really yummy dish.

We are all getting better, just my elder son still diarrhea,

hope he will getting better tomorrow.

薯仔焖火腩 Simmer Potato with Roasted Pork

这两天都在忙着跟病菌搏斗。全家都被病菌给轻浮了。

而这病菌超强的，根据医生说就这几天就有 100 宗。

就连以上一家五口也被这细菌感染。可怕。

先是发高烧，接着就是吐和泄。最可怜就是两个小孩，完全不能吃喝。

大哥哥吐了一个晚上，而且还脱水了。

刚才才可以吃一小碗粥。希望他们快快好起来。

This two days i have been busy with sickness.

Whole family get infected with virus and bacteria.

Start is high fever then diarrhea after that vomit.

The most serious is my elder son. He start vomit in the evening until night.

The whole night just cant sleep at all, continue to vomit.

Just can eat a little bit porridge today.

Hope they will getting well soon. 

香草巧克力---双色戚风蛋糕 Vanila Chocolate Chiffon

再过两天就是我们的穆斯林同胞庆祝开斋节了。

街上到处人来人往的，个个马来同胞都忙着采购开斋的东西。

两个小瓜也将要放假了。

先是开斋假期跟着是学校假期，所以共有一个星期多的假期。

可以在家玩个够啦。

Two more days is our Muslim friends celebrate their Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

All around the town was crowded by the Malay friends ready for their Hari Raya stuff.

And my two little boy will enjoy their holiday soon.

After the Hari Raya Holiday is their school bread holiday, so they have more than a week holidays.

They can enjoy and play the whole days. Kids will be the most happy one.

川贝雪梨润肺汤 Fritillary, Pear and Herbs Soup

买了一包润肺的药材煲汤给家人润肺润肺。

天气大人后又下雨，然后又吃些燥热的食物，比较容易热气。

所以特地煮了这汤水给他们补补肺，滋润滋润一下。

豆腐紫菜蛋花汤 Tofu Seaweed and Egg Soup

这是我第一次做这汤。

但是，我家两个小孩不爱吃，他们是不喜欢咬到紫菜。

可能是我的紫菜下的太多了，下次我会在煮不过会减少紫菜分量。

我是蛮喜欢这汤的。

This is the first time i cook this soup for my two kids.

But what u guess, they didn't like it.

My boy tell me that the seaweed is not good, but is not the smell of the soup.

May be is too more seaweed in the soup

So..... i will try to cook it again next time and reduce the seaweed.

Anyway, i like this soup.

鸡蛋卷 Egg Roll with Fish Paste

买了一包马鲛鱼肉浆，准备做鸡蛋卷。

平时都是用来酿豆腐或茄子，这次弄点别的。

诚诚仔和安安仔，这两个小瓜吃最多。

I buy 1 pack of fish paste from the wet market, wanting to made egg roll.

Normally, just for stuff the tofu and brinjal (eggplant), but this time want to made something different.

Cheng and An my two boys love this, and they eat much of them.

马铃薯娘惹鸡 Nyonya Ponteh with Potato

又是一道非常下饭的料理。
这都是一些很旧的食谱，几年前的杂志。
杂志虽然就，但是料理是不会过时的。
越久的食谱越是好料。
